Magnetite Mines was in Port Augusta for the Tactic Conference and Trade Expo. It was a fantastic opportunity for us to engage with local providers on core services and supplies we will need for our multi-generational mining project. The week was capped off with a presentation from Magnetite Mines CEO Tim Dobson about the current state of the Green Iron industry that is developing in South Australia and how our Razorback Iron Ore Project is set to play a major role.

‘Green Iron’ Grade Concentrates Produced Using Saline Water
A breakthrough in MGT’s laboratory testing has demonstrated the potential to use saline water to produce 'Green Iron' feed grade magnetite concentrates from an Iron Peak deposit ore sample, potentially materially reducing project costs. The concentrates achieved grades of 69.9% Fe and less than 2.0% silica + alumina, exceeding current requirements for Direct Reduction Iron (DRI) production.
